Dreams

Every night I dream of you,
Hoping someday my dreams come true.
Here I am looking in your eyes,
Hoping you know how much I care,
And that I'll always be there.
Deep down I'm sure you know,
That I'll never let you go.
When you cry I feel your pain,
In my heart I feel the same.
I don't know why,
I ever said goodbye.
I hope you know that I'll never leave
again,
And that I'll be there until the end.
I'll express my love to you
Through ways you never knew.
I'm sorry for all I've done wrong,
Because I hurt you all along.
I know I broke your heart,
The day we fell apart.
I swear I won't leave,
In your time of need.
Just between you and me,
I love you endlessly.

Weeping Willow
Weeping willow, kindly sir,
Tell me why, today,
You hang your head in sorrow, sir,
Your branches grow that way.
Other trees grow so tall,
And reach so far up to the sky,
I've oftened wondered why you had
A look that seems so shy.
He answered me, in his own way,
"Why can't we all be free,
To grow the way we want to grow,
That God wants us to be?"
Since I was just a little seed,
I've lived here by this stream,
I wanted to grow large and tall,
For this had been my dream.
But in my shade, I've got it made,
In this, there is no shame,
A lesson learned long time ago,
We can't all be the same.
