I have a
very special Friend
who I know I will love 'till the end
Nothing about her I despise
To me she's perfect, my angel in disguise
This friend
is very far from me
but always very close in my heart
The internet brought this friendship alive
and happened when I read a poem so nice

the web is the place
to find friends faster than in life
Nothing matters, religion or race
we are all united in our common vice
We love to
spend time on the net
sometimes we forget to go to bed
First thing in the morning leads us here
to check for e-mails from someone dear
Eventually
more friends joined us
to create this circle of friends
And for over 2 years now we have shared
our life and pain and fun and news
I hope this
Ya Ya ring will never end
and I'm grateful for a note from my friend
Be it about work or movies or dogs
Cats and grandkids and other delights
Sharing our
life with people we love
a love that grows as time passes
and one of these days we will realize
We have to meet and celebrate

Ya Butterflies
Like
flies we flit
from thoughts to words
no topic too sacred,
top secret or absurd.
“I’ll tell the girls,
e-mail tonight…”
when an event unfolds
that’s worthy of recite.
Such silken gifts,
moments we share
some funny, some tear-filled
true emotions we air.
Simple
highlights,
kids or kittens
our lifetime diaries
unwittingly written.
Ya Ya Sisters -
everyday glue.
How outsiders make it,
I haven’t a clue!!
